Hi, I'm

Sharif Siddique, the SEO Consultant

And a full-time father and part-time SEO consultant. Some know me by my nickname, Foysal, though my grandmother used to call me “Foshol,” and one of my elder cousins still calls me “Foisel.” However, most online marketers and SEO experts know me as Sharif U. Siddique.

More Info About Me

I don’t have an extraordinary story to fill this page, but I’ll share what I can.

Back in 2013, I was searching for ways to make money online after reading a newspaper section called IT Corner. The story featured someone making a fortune from home using just a laptop.

Inspired, I tried learning to code to build websites, but it didn’t take long to realize that coding wasn’t for me. Every attempt left me with a headache. So, like many, I began looking for an easier way to earn money—without much thought about following a passion.

Then, I stumbled upon a blog post about a group of young Bangladeshis who won $15,000 from a freelancer marketplace called Freelancer.com in an SEO competition.

Intrigued, I started exploring SEO and found the winners—pioneers of the Bangladeshi SEO industry, including Al-Amin Kabir, Taher Choudhury Sumon, and many other talents. I soon learned they were offering SEO training at a  training center called Devsteam(now-closed). I signed up, hoping it would be my golden ticket to making money.

But reality hit hard. The training provided only the basics, and my expectations of instant success were shattered. I had to dig deeper into SEO, learning and experimenting on my own. After training, I launched my first blog—it failed. I created a second one—it also failed. Discouraged, I took a six-month break.

When I returned, I gave it another shot and found success. I began earning money from my blog, and one success led to another. Between 2014 and 2022, I created around 30 websites—some for Google AdSense, others for Amazon affiliate marketing. During this time, I also worked with three agencies, managing 12-15 websites, mostly for local lead generation and Amazon affiliate marketing.

Then Google started rolling out updates targeting content, backlinks, and AI-generated content, and the SEO landscape shifted. Many SEOs, including myself, had to adapt. I transitioned into offering SEO services and continued working with white-label agencies.

Now, I’m focused on building my own agency, Upgraph.io, where I aim to help both local and international businesses thrive online.

In addition to my work, I have a passion for traveling. I’ve explored some of the most famous places in Bangladesh, including Cox’s Bazar, Netrokona, Sitakundo, Sundarbans, and many more.

Traveling not only gives me a break from work but also inspires me to think creatively and stay motivated.
